He is not a professional. He has no education, no training and little experience prior to when he started.
He a TV celebrity. That is it.
If you do a little research, you would realize that science has since disproved the alpha theory, with both dogs and wolves. If you know anything, at all, about a dog's body language, you would be able to see in his videos that the dogs he "works" with are anxious and frightened of him, and they react out of fear. He forces them to act so he can punish them.
And, again, if you'd do a little research on your own, you would learn that most of his clients end up failed. He's even been charged with cruelty and killing dogs before, but when you have enough money you can get out of anything.
Yes, he is actually considered a professional. And where did you get the idea that he has no training and even little experience? i feel like you're blurting out random things now. cesar milan grew up working with animals on his grandfather's farm. and you're telling me to do some research? the only thing you said that was true was the fact that the alpha theory has been disproven.
He doesn't abuse them in any way. the dogs are not "anxious" in any way, you obviously cannot interpret body language. The worst he will do is nudge them with his heel or hold them down. To call that "cruelty" is laughable. he simply corrects the dogs. he treats them wonderfully. I think you're a tad too hypersensitive and too concerned about animals instead of worrying about fellow humans. There are hundreds of children starving in Africa and you're worried about Cesar Milan nudging a dog with his heel? you are seriously overreacting (to something that isn't even there). nowhere have i ever seen/read about/experienced animal cruelty by cesar milan. as for the people charging him with cruelty and killing dogs, it's not impossible they probably wanna earn a quick buck out of him. hey, it happened to john travolta
He does not 'nudge' animals. He kicks them in the ribs and the groin, he smacks them, punches them and hangs them.
A dog that has it's tail tucked, is looking away, is licking its lips is not a happy dog. A dog that's trembling and urinating on itself is not a happy dog.
If you cannot see the abuse that is so clear then you need to reevaluate what you think you know about dogs, dog behavior and training. If any casual owner was going down the street jerking on a dog's collar, kicking it, slapping it and hanging it up until its tongue turns blue, they would be in trouble for cruelty. But he does it and it's called 'training'.
He uses outdated methods that do not work. What he does is punish dogs for acting, which causes them to fear acting. It's like shaking a bottle. At some point it is going to explode. There are far better ways to teach dogs. Quite frankly, if you can't find another way to teach your dog than with physical and mental intimidating, then you need not have one.
If you at all can open up the fact that this low life has set dog training back about 20 years or so, go watch some of his videos. Watch how he forces dogs into uncomfortable situations so he can hit them. Watch him KICK them in the groin, PUNCH them in the face and throat, SLAP them across the nose. Watch him HANG them until they turn blue and cannot move. Watch them TREMBLE and URINATE on themselves.
And then go watch people like Kikopup and Zak George. And watch how happy and enthusiastic their dogs are. Watch how willing to learn they are.
I can't make people like you see him for what he really is. You see only what you want, but the fact of the matter is, he is an animal abuser, he is uneducated and he is an egotistical brute who enjoys hurting animals for money.
